Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in much the same way. Together they let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. This policy covers cookies and these similar technologies.

We keep our use of cookies deliberately light. Today, cosantio uses them only to make the site work and to remember a preference or two, for example which colour theme you have chosen. We do not currently use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell data gathered through them.

If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner, and we will update this policy and the table below.

Strictly necessary and functional

These are required for the site to work or to remember a basic preference. They do not need consent under the ePrivacy rules because the site cannot function properly without them.

• Theme preference: remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme, stored locally in your browser.
• Security and load balancing: any cookies our hosting provider sets to keep the site secure and available.

Analytics and marketing

We do not currently use these. Should that change, they will be listed here, switched off by default, and enabled only with your consent.

Because we currently set only strictly necessary and functional cookies, there is no advertising or tracking to opt into. We take the most privacy-preserving option by default. If we add non-essential cookies later, you will be able to accept or decline them, and to change your mind at any time.

You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block cookies, delete existing ones, or warn you before one is set. Doing so may affect how parts of this and other websites work, including whether your theme preference is remembered. Your browser's help pages explain how to do this for your specific browser.

We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. When we do, we will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
